Chrysostomos Pepos is a dedicated professional with a strong background in educational innovation, European program management, and social engagement. As a key member of Citizens in Power (CIP)—a leading independent, non-profit organization based in Cyprus —he has played a key role in designing, coordinating, and implementing EU-funded programs focused on youth empowerment, sustainable development, and digital transformation in education. With practical experience in cross-border collaborations, promoting policy reforms, and integrating creative methodologies into learning environments, Chrysostomos brings both strategic oversight and grassroots influence to his work. His multidisciplinary expertise bridges the fields of social entrepreneurship, training, and curriculum development, making him an effective leader in promoting inclusive and participatory educational ecosystems.

Angelos Parmatzias

Administrator

Angelos Parmatzias is the director of CIP. He holds an MBA from the University of Nicosia and a degree from Birmingham City University. He has participated in over 100 projects, to which he has contributed significantly as a researcher and project manager. Under his leadership, his team has successfully secured awards for various projects, such as Horizon, Eni CBC MED, KA3, Erasmus+, REC, CERV, and COSME.
As a social innovator, entrepreneur, and funding expert, Angelos is dedicated to meeting the needs of people in Cyprus and Europe. He achieves this by creating innovative training programs and educational materials, conducting applied research in the field of digital literacy, and providing consulting services in various areas of sustainability, with an emphasis on green and social sustainability.

Dr. Dimitra Gaki

Partner

Agricultural economist with a PhD in Spatial Planning. She specializes in productive agricultural systems and holds a DEA in Geography and an MSc in Agricultural Development and Business Planning. She is a member of the teaching staff of the Laboratory (EDIP) and a researcher at the Agricultural Space Laboratory of the Department of Spatial Planning, Urban Planning, and Regional Development of the University of Thessaly. Her academic interests include territorial and rural development, actors and institutions in rural areas, agricultural production systems, especially in mountainous areas, spatial analysis, land promotion, and participatory systems for ensuring land products and services. She participates in national and European research programs and scientific networks. He has participated in international conferences and published articles in Greek and international scientific journals. He currently coordinates the international program “Regenerative Agriculture and Agroecological Transition in Thessaly.”

Marios Koundouris

Facilitator

He studied Computer Engineering and Informatics (BSc) and Data Science and Engineering (MSc) at the Cyprus University of Technology. He has experience in all stages of the development cycle of dynamic web projects, specializing in front-end and back-end development. He has excellent knowledge of many programming languages, such as HTML5, PHP, Java, CSS, C, C++, C#. In addition, he has experience with Android Studio, Unity, Windows, and Linux. He has experience in creating, presenting, and maintaining software applications in a 3D/VR/AR environment in Game Engines. Previous professional experience in various EU research projects (Horizon/Erasmus+) as a researcher and developer, coordinating work packages and tasks.
